GIRLS' GENERATION: I GOT A BOY (TRACKS 3 - 10)

Michael continues his track-by-track rundown of Girls' Generation's latest masterpiece.

Since I already spent so much time writing about the first two tracks, "I Got A Boy" and "Dancing Queen," it seemed only fitting that I should give the rest of Girls' Generation's colorful new album a track-by-track rundown...

TRACK 3: "BABY MAYBE"

GIRLS' GENERATION: I GOT A BOY (SINGLE)

Girls' Generation are back with their most complex, mind-bending single yet, "I Got A Boy." And it's marvelous.

It was only a week or so ago that Girls' Generation unleashed "Dancing Queen," a four year old track that hadn't been released previously for whatever reason(s).

GIRLS' GENERATION: GIRLS' GENERATION II ~Girls & Peace~

GIRLS' GENERATION: GIRLS' GENERATION II ~Girls & Peace~

Girls' Generation's second Japanese album is here and all 12 tracks are amazing!

Girls' Generation II is the girls' second Japanese album. And I'm simply going to review it as that. I realize that some of these songs were originally done in Korean, but I'm just going to write about the Japanese versions, basically pretending that the Korean versions don't exist. Because, for many of their Japanese fans, they don't. I'm just going to try to review the album as if I'm a fan who has never heard anything from Girls' Generation aside from their first Japanese album and the Japanese singles that appear on this album.

GIRLS' GENERATION: FLOWER POWER

GIRLS' GENERATION: FLOWER POWER

K-pop sensation Girls' Generation have blessed Japan with this new Japanese language single from their forthcoming Japanese album, which drops in two weeks. And it's an immensely catchy song that demands your attention STAT.

Two weeks before the release of their new Japanese album, Girls' Generation are releasing their new Japanese single, "Flower Power." As with past singles like "Papparazzi" and "Mr. Taxi," "Flower Power" has been especially produced for their Japanese fans. It's said to be about love on the dance floor and that's not hard to believe. For one thing, it's impossible to listen to this song and not want to dance. It's bursting with dance pop energy, featuring a throbbing, punchy beat and lots and lots of glorious synth. Not to mention the girls' always perfect harmonizing.

GIRLS' GENERATION: OH!

By Paris365 on September 26, 2012

GIRLS' GENERATION: OH!

Having recently released two highly successful, original Japanese singles, Girls' Generation have finally decided to unleash a new Japanese version of their smash Korean hit "Oh!" And, I have to say, it's about time. I'd been wondering when they were going to release a Japanese version of this Kenzie-penned smash for ages. "Dance, dance, dance, yeah, we run this town," goes some of the English lyrics that kick off both the Korean and Japanese versions of the song. A perfect blend of dance and electro pop, I can easily see this one rising to the top of the Japanese charts.
