Ready for that “Black Rock Shooter” anime?

If you’ve been looking ahead to the winter anime season, you know one of the most anticipated shows is the eight episode version of “Black Rock Shooter.” Based on the stellar short movie which featured art from Huke, the guy behind “Steins;Gate,” the show was set to premiere in late January but has now been bumped back to February 2nd.

The good news is, mostly, the characters look the same. That said, the color scheme (especially on the neon green Dead Master) is a little wonky. That could just be the conceptual stuff, but considering she originally looked like this:

It’s a little disconcerting.
